During the Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) Championship finals of the women’s 100 yard butterfly, Belise Swartwood takes home first place with a time of 56.56 seconds. This was one of four first place titles that Swartwood earned during the championship.

2014 Nissan Hall of Honor Recipients

For the first time, three athlete from the same OIA school have been inducted into the Nissan Hall of Honor. In addition, Seniors Dayton Furuta, Alyssa Tobita and Sarah Liva received a $2,000 scholarship.

 

This year, these athletes have accomplished:

Furuta – OIA and all-state football, OIA wrestling and HHSAA judo champion

Tobita – Four-time OIA and three-time HHSAA individual tennis champion

Liva – All-state volleyball and basketball
